Clark Education City Congratulates Successful Graduates07th August 2011Clark Education City (CEC) recently welcomed back pioneer Aged Care graduates for a congratulatory lunch. Among the attendees were nine graduates who have been offered positions in Australia with a large provider of healthcare services. This is the first step for these students in fulfilling their dream of an international career. Director of Education and Industry, Steve Ghost congratulated the students on their hard work and success. Ghost expressed his admiration for their efforts and said “ CEC is proud to have provided the training here that has allowed you to access this opportunity. We made a significant investment in the CEC campus and it is very rewarding to see this benefiting Filipino students”. Clark Education City is an Australian owned vocational school that occupies the former Expo Filipino site within Clark. The aim of CEC is to prepare students for global opportunities by providing a unique combination of Australian teachers, international standard facilities and English speaking environment. Offering Australian qualification, English language and customized training, the campus was initially established with an investment of over US$6M. By undertaking courses in areas of global skills shortage, CEC students can prepare for careers in areas such as Healthcare, Construction, HRM, Diesel fitting, and Refrigeration/ Air-conditioning. With on campus accommodation and meals, CEC offers the opportunity for students from over 8 countries to mix, make new friends and upgrade their skills. Clark Education continues to support graduated students through the recently launched Career Center. In coming weeks the Center will invite Aged Care graduates to visit upgraded facilities and receive free training on new equipment. ![]() CEC Officers (from left) Angel Ordoño, EVP Regulatory and Corporate Affairs, Adam Roberts, Director of External Relations and Judith Petering, Aged Care Teacher, join CEC Aged Care graduates who were recently offered positions in a large healthcare services provider in Australia.
